Aláine Ní Laoí: I’ve had a huge passion for wildlife and natural history for as long as I can remember. For over four years I’ve been developing my wildlife photography skills, while my interest in art has existed considerably longer. I would gladly appreciate any feedback on my displayed work. I’m undoubtedly a ‘wildlife geek’ by all accounts and do all I can to further my understanding of the natural world and am no stranger to delving into the world of science. I myself volunteer as a falconer and am involved with the Golden Eagle Trust and Irish Raptor Study Group. I have a particular predilection with birds of prey, which have captivated my imagination for some time. I'm currently presenting 'Ireland's First'a documentary on the first pair of breeding White Tailed Sea Eagles in Ireland and have worked as a radio presenter in the past. I strongly intend pursuing a career as a wildlife/science broadcaster. I’m constantly documenting and recording a majority of my sightings and attempting to broaden my general knowledge of natural history. I’m eager to share my passion and interest for wildlife and conservation and hope this blog helps to achieve just that. Aláine Ní Laoí
